Trick or treat

Trick or treat

Ok so I think this must be one of my absolute favourite months. The weather is just right, not too cold and those autumnal colours just warm my heart. Plus this is the month of Halloween and don’t ask my why, but I’m just obsessed. Every year me and my friends go all out, from Harley Quin to Pulp Fiction we all go for our unique style. This year has to be my favourite though, my costume has to be my favourite so far. Channeling one of my ultimate favourite films I’m going to be dressed up as, 🥁 roll……Beetlejuice 🪲🧃 obviously with a chic vibe but I’m so excited 😂. Last year I went as Mia from pulp fiction and my dad, bless him, went as Vincent and it made my night.

Here’s some of my favourite Halloween looks I’ve done over the years.

I also cannot wait to take the boys trick or treating, the area we live in goes all out and I just love seeing the looks on my kids faces when someone answers the door (obviously we only knock on doors who have a pumpkin on show) I literally get such a buzz watching them laugh and jump in excitement.

October is such a beautiful month, I’m all about the autumn colours and outfits. Plus knowing Christmas isn’t far off just drops that little bit of excitement.

A little extra treat (I’d forgotten to upload the blog) for this years Halloween…

Product of the month

The cami bangle and ring

This has to be one of my favourite designs. I’ve always had a huge obsession with New Orleans and I wanted to create something to pay tribute. I adore the knot style spacer beads I feel like it really gives a dusky vibe which gave me bourbon street feels.

Outfit inspo

Oversized knits, leather leggings and big scarves are my go to this October. Layering is a must because I don’t know what’s going on with our seasons lately.

Hair inspo

Money piece and a Balyage have been booked in. I’m struggling with trying to grow my hair out and I’m trying not to spend too much (kids birthday and Christmas around the corner). I’ve also been trying to use rosemary oil as my ends are super dry. But I’ll be honest, I’m rubbish at remember to put it on before hair wash day 🤦🏼‍♀️ but I’ve used it a couple times as I’m also suffering with thinning around the forehead (a little gift from pregnancies) so I’m hoping it’ll help that. I’ll keep you posted on my results and I’ll be 💯 honest as I’m not trying to sell it and earn commission like all the influencers on social media.

Nail inspo

Bring on the burgundy nails. This is one of my favourites for autumn 🍂 I love the rich tones and with stacking rings and a long sleeve jumper it really finishes off the look. The LBD of autumnal nails, you’ll never go wrong with burgundies for the autumnal season.

Beauty product of the month

The Body Shops Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter. Did you know that before I opened Wilde Creations I used to be a Body Shop rep…and I sucked at it. My mum basically bought everything off me in the end, but I did enjoy all the goodies and this has been a staple ever since. This cleansing butter works magic on SO many different things. But for me, the biggest pro of this product, is that it removes face paint with ease and no irritation. Having kids who love dressing up and are always first at the face painting stall this has been my best friend. My eldest suffers with eczema and this is so soft on his skin and honestly melts makeup and face paint away. So a must for the month of fancy dress…YouTube different uses for this item and you will thank me later 😉

Book of the month

Well it has to go to none other than Britney Spears’ The Woman In Me. I bought this the day it was released and when I pretty much finished it in 3 days. My heart breaks for Britney and so many people did her so wrong. I cannot recommend this book enough.

Quote of the month

Be present… this is something I am working on. We can spend so much time worrying about things that haven’t even happened when we should stop, take a moment to appreciate the now, because now is the moment you’ve been working to. Don’t waste time focusing on what’s coming, spend time appreciating what IS.

Small business shoutout

This is a business I use often and I’m always so happy with the quality and service received. You can find them on Instagram @cmprintsprintsandstationary

CM Prints & Stationary

Hey to all of you lovelies, my name is Amie and I am the sole owner of CM Prints & Stationery - specialising in all aspects of stationery, from business to occasions such as weddings and birthdays. Fully personalised to create your own unique design.

As a stay at home mum of 3 I needed something to do for myself, a hobby. With a passion for designing I decided to start my small business journey and created CM Prints back in October 2019. This started out as personalised candles & small gift hampers which grew, and grew, expanding into the wide variety of products I offer today. I went from sat at my dining table creating personalised gifts and printing my own business stationery to building my own office space, designing and printing for other small businesses! I cannot tell you how rewarding it is when others love your designs as much as you love creating them, but it's pretty amazing!

With the love for designing and a huge passion for weddings I decided to expand even further, working with brides and grooms-to-be to bring their vision to life and create their invitations and 'on the day' stationery. It doesn't stop there either, I also have a wide range of other occasion products such as Birthday Cards, party invitations and favours!

You will usually find me on Instagram or Facebook, in the 4 years I have been running this business I've not created a website, maybe this is something for CM Prints future but for now I love interacting with all of my customers old and new. As we always say - this is my small business family and I've met soo many amazing people along the way!

A massive thank you to you all for your continued love and support over the past 4 years.

All the Best, take care and I hope to hear from you all soon 💕
